Users review: A squeaky-clean young couple, Brad & Janet (Barry BOSTWICK & Susan Sarandon), get a flat tire on a rainy night late, and decided to stop at a castle nearby are Life and residents in phone calls for help. What they do not realize that this is no ordinary individual living: Dr. Frank N prying (Tim Curry), with help from Raff his servants the riff (Richard OBrien), Magenta ( Patricia Quinn), and their ragtag band 'group of fellow Transylvanians, has its own diabolical plans for the night, set against a kick-ass rock n roll musical score .... Call me a crooked Rocky movie fan, but I really want to watch the cult movie classic music in the comfort of my own home, instead of going from one of the films screened at midnight theater in 1975 made it so popular. Oh, I'm sure there's great fun to be had at a show night, but the truth is, you're not going to see or hear basically the movie itself, what with the audience shouting loud & send things in the screen literally every two seconds (think Mystery Science Theater 3000 speed), as well as disposal of living made the front screen film! If you * really * want to see and hear the movie Rocky Point in Pictures as you would any other movie, watch this video first. Then, when I had the film firmly etched in your mind, go outside the theater. But before NO! After saying this, the film version of the hit stage musical written by Richard OBrien (riff Raff himself), is a ton of good, naughty fun. It is surprising sent up B-movie sci-fi/horror flicks, and a playful, healthy dose of blatant sexual hint thrown in for good measure. Classic, memorable rock n roll tunes written by OBrien in full, including the Time Warp, sweet transvestite, Hot Patootie .... The list goes on and on. And, of course, you have a wonderful cast, led by Tim Curry, who is larger-than-life Dr. Frank N prying, and a young, attractive Susan Sarandon, who just light up the screen as Janet. But others, including Barry BOSTWICK, vyand, Little Nell, Patricia Quinn, Charles Gray and do contributons great, too.I love movie Rocky Point in Pictures: too funny, sexy, and brilliantly done ;, and rock n roll music tboot. But I, personally, still prefer to see him at home, where I can see the movie in peace and quiet without being called in my ear, getting soaked, or have them send rice & toast all around me!
