Users review: Just returned from a nearly sold-out theater and I have to say that the movie was somewhere between fair and good! I've read quite a few reviews, and very surprised at the extremely negative feedback. The Brothers Grimm would roll in their graves, someone wrote. The answer is: Really, it would be now? I think a little research on the subject would be a quite a bit of good. The Grimm brothers, who werent the original story tellers of Rotkaeppchen as he called it, he told folk tale, no fairy tale? They were the first tabloid writers and friends every story was a grain of truth, the heart, the brothers wrote, enter the People's perception, superstition and prejudice in Central Europe in 1800? the stories are often capricious, cruel and generally shows very little moral. It took generations of translations and tell to soften the original in order to take a bedtime story because the original had launched a nightmare time in adult male . Does anyone know what is the meaning of the name Peter, and why they wear black throughout the film? Id love to read your thoughts about it. The film is a beautiful translation? Yet. And much more depends largely on the vision of the Brothers Grimm, as the story is all told as children. I saw that a bit parallel Twilight, but just because they are in the movie, andthe Twilight movies filmed in Vancouver and probably the same kind. The story is based on folk tales and (in my opinion), it's been pretty good.
