Users review: If the original version of Oldboy has a perfect 10 out of 10, he first mixed June 10.At, I just got back from the theater and I found this film a very bad version if you compare it with excellence, complexity and power of Asian cinema. That movie was pure genius. So this new version has been very promising, but had to raise the bar too high.From Spike Lee you might expect from a film truly fascinating or a very weak. And in this case I say that this is not as bad as it seems here. It 'obvious that some people seem to go too far. It is a disappointing film, but it is not a bad film. It focuses too much blood and gore, instead of the script and the complexity of the characters and situations. The end can be a bit 'annoying to some viewers.Josh Brolin is one of the best things about this release. His performance is as good as they always do their roles. The rest of the cast is between the average or good. Nothing special in my watch.So this Oldboy is a brilliant film or a powerful new version, but it's a fun one. Its strange and bloody. Be prepared for this.
