Users review: Im not sure what is more worrying, that Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau starred in comedies such mediocre or the fact that he wrote it. Good friends and regular collaborators Vaughn and Favreau had mixed results in their working partnership: Swingers is a bona fide cult classic indie circuit cutting back in 1996, Made is disappointing that everyone looks Swingers 2, The Four Break Up is a guilty pleasure of success and Holidays (Four Christmas in the U.S.) flopped massively in the U.S. box office. Where appropriate Retreat? Somewhere near Four Holidays? but at least they also write that. The target audience obviously never been decided as humor seems to cater for everyone. Minutes a mature, robust real life moments in category funny because in fact, the next time there jokes about erections and masturbation is home in America Pie. Doing this the right way and on their own any forms of comedy can be brilliant, but mixing together makes for a chaotic experience. There are some funny scenes? yoga session is undoubtedly the most memorable? just nowhere near the player enough.Of Vaughn and Akerman out better, their natural chemistry and comic timing will be very nimble to keep the film afloat. The others did not fare so well. Favreau should leave the acting business and focus on writing and directing, it is virtually impossible for him to be funny on screen. Bateman, Bell, Davis and Love all failed to ever get us laugh, while an extended cameo by Jean Reno is probably the worst thing I ever experienced French celluloid. If wear you are looking for easy comedy with a superb location (and women) then this might do the trick, but I certainly can not recommend spending your hard earned cash you see it in theaters. Cheap DVD beckon.2 Trash of 5 (1 - Rubbish, 2 - Ordinary, 3 - Good, 4 - Excellent, 5 - Classic)
