Users review: It seemed like the perfect summer blockbuster. Two big stars, little budget and a director with a flair for action. What could go wrong? At the end of it, and not what might go wrong, you ask yourself, what went well. The answer .... hardly anything. White House down is not only stupid, it's downright ridiculous. The plot is ridiculous, action sequences and sub par acting is terrible. Channing Tatum is his best impression of Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx in the worst performance of his career. Supporting cast Maggie Gyllenhaal leads lead record is terrible and the only reason I did not give first Overall, the film is loud, long and boring, so I can not imagine functioning of the adult brain to enjoy it. I highly recommend to stay away from this stinker. If you want a good action movie, among others the destruction of the White House, tune in Olympus of Animals.
